Button, A Forever Friend

    R.D. Welch is a former radio personality, television news anchor, director, producer, and author of award-winning documentary films and commercials. His awards include the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco Film Festival and seventeen ADDY Awards for commercials and films.

     Mr. Welch has written more than twenty songs for documentary films and has recorded two songs used in a promotional film. He was the Creative Director of a large Advertising Agency in Las Vegas, Nevada and a member of the Las Vegas Advertising Federation Board of Directors. He has been in broadcast upper management for the last twenty years.

   The author is currently Vice President of a radio group with direct responsibilities for daily operation of twelve stations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is single with four grown children.
